Not dwelling, just a peek.
Thought I'd share some images of myself as I grew up.

I don't just mean on my food!
I recently started using more natural products on my face. Since I am currently unemployed, by "natural products" I mean things that can also double as food. Olive oil and avocados as moisturisers, for instance!
They're all noncomodogenic and for some reason, when people see oil, they think it'll make them break out. Oil from the sebaceous glands is not the same as oil from an olive, and not all oils will clog pores, some even clear them out! Just as soaps use fat to remove the oils and grime from your body, so do oils help to clear out those pores.
After using a bit of steam or warm water to open those pores up, a bit of olive oil mixed with some avocado (or if you're poor like me, just olive oil is just fine) should be applied all over. I take my palms and rub it all in and add more til I look ridiculously shiny like an Anime character, and let it sit on my face for at least 10 minutes. Bringing out cooler water, I use my palms again to rub the excess off!
It's gentle for around the eyes, and some of the results are instant. My skin is already soft as all get out and the oils helped to soften some scabs from some stress disorder of mine to smooth it all out. All squeaky clean am I!
Olive oil, is there anything it can't do? (Fry, it can't fry, trust me, it cannot FRY.)
Here's my fresh-gettin' face after my at-home-spa funtimes.

Current weight now fluctuating between 240-242!
Starting weight - 255!
110 lbs to go!
I personally can't wait till it's over so I can stretch my skin in ridiculous ways. Happened to a friend of mine after a growth spurt, totally hilarious.

Whew! My legs are going to hurt tomorrow! Er, today!
I was having trouble sleeping and remembered I hadn't been doing nearly enough exercise (though I am now down to 244 from 255 in less than a month) than I had planned on doing. Went upstairs, got on that Wii and did some serious yoga and aerobics! No more spending hours on the balance games, no, it's time to actually feel some burn.
It feels good, though! I don't have to push myself to feel a burn, either. Not like "uberpain for ubergain" right now, this is more of a focus on getting myself moving in general. After finally getting the hang of the Advanced Step game, I unlocked Free Step which is totally my new favourite thing. It lets you decide when to go to the sides, when to kick and when to go back and forth, and you can even do it while watching TV thanks to the sounds in the Wiimote. Very cool!
I also used my eight pound weights to give my arms a bit more of a work out. Despite their size, my arms are incredibly weak! Even doing the Warrior pose in yoga would stress those arms out. No more! I won't tolerate that. Still, the eight pound weights are gentle enough to not completely destroy these sausage arms but I know my arms will be feeling that one tomorrow as well.
I'm working on my endurance, as well. My body apparently has ADD as well as my brain, and gets bored after 20 minutes. Luckily that's 20 minutes more than I've done in 8 years, so I'll still call that an improvement.
If anyone has any tips to share in regards to exercises, please email me - tothedivineone@gmail.com - and I'll post them on here and link back to your blog or facebook or whatever you'd like.
Thanks everyone for reading!

I wanted to take a moment to give a big thank you to the people at NaturallySavvy.com, and in particular, Andrea, who I believe runs their Twitter account. Before I started this life change of mine, I started to get more active on social networking, and I usually entered giveaways. Naturally Savvy has these cool Question of the Day posts on their Twitter that usually require a participant to do a bit of research on a specific healthy subject, like how much wheat makes up a bottle of typical soy sauce, or what is another name for a sesame seed. All a person has to do is reply to them @naturallysavvy with their answer and whatever number response they decide for the day is, gets the prize. Not a small prize, either! I won three of their contests myself, one of which included a tofu press, 10 free-item coupons for Nasoya, a spatula and an eco friendly reuseable grocery bag, all because I answered a question!
It's a way to learn a lot and there's always the chance of winning incredibly awesome, healthy, and eco friendly prizes. In the end, at the very least, you've learned something new. Their site is somewhat of a boon to anyone looking to get healthy and more in tune with the real world around them, and overall, I dig them. Thanks guys for helping me find my focus with this lifestyle change, for the tofu press and fun food products, and for your site.
Thanks again, everyone, for reading ^^

Things have been relatively tough this past week. Not necessarily food wise, but more or less in regards to my overall motivation and happiness. I have found myself to be rather depressed, to the point I didn't exercise for three days and just spent the whole time in the cold darkness of my basement. The pressure is on me to either find a job quickly (a difficult task) or figure out what I plan to do in regards to school. I really want to venture into the Environmental Sciences field, but I am really worried that I won't do so well once again, just like the last two times I tried this whole school business.
I've got to stay positive, which is often the hardest thing for me to do. Thankfully, I've got Steve by my side to help me along.
My apologies for not updating so frequently as I was, I just couldn't find any inspiration this week. Next week should be better.
Thanks again for reading.
